The line of J.R.R. Tolkien

danzig_merian_1643_farbeGdańsk/Danzig, 17th c.

The names given in this tree are only of the male line of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. The tree will be developed as our knowledge on the Tolkien ancestry is deeper. My special thanks to Tadeusz A. Olszański, Wiltraud Potrawa, Tomasz Gubała, Magdalena Słaba, Gerald Aurand, Michał Leśniewski and others who have supperted my work and encouraged me when there was still a long way from London to Tołkiny. For the fans of Middle-earth I have also added hypotetical Sindarin names for each generation of the forefathers of our „Beren”.
