Chesterton, Lewis and George MacDonald, and Lewis’s Anglo-Catholic commitments and their influence on his writings. Special priority will be given to those papers exploring the relationship between Lewis’s theological views and his understanding of literature, fiction, companionship, and philosophy. Invited speakers include Dr. Tom Shippey, author of J.R.R. Tolkien: Author of the Century and The Road to Middle Earth, and Dr. Diana Glyer, author of The Company They Keep: C.S. Lewis & J.R.R.
